2010 OAP Special Event License Plate
The Illinois Special Event License platefor this year's 20th Annual Orphan Auto Picnic features the 50th Anniversary of the Corvair. The plates can be displayed from July 1 through August 29, (sixty days prior to the OAP) on any passenger car including those with Antique Vehicle plates, B trucks or Recreational Vehicles (less than 8000 lbs.). The vehicle must be currently registered in Illinois. Collector sets can be puchased by non-llinois residents. These sets are not registered to a vehicle, however the State still requires Drivers License info and vehicle registration to be submitted for collector sets.
The plates have a gold background with a medium red rollcoat. Price is $36 a set. Photos are of the actual proof plates from the Sectretary of State. Production is limited to just 50 sets of plates and they are selling fast, don't wait, ORDER NOW!! They are real LQQKERS!!

Mid-America Plate Association produces a plate every year for their annual license plate swap meet. This year we did their plate as a companion to the OAP. They also have a gold background to match the OAP's with a bright blue rollcoat. These plates have a display period from May 20 through July 11 and are being sold for $35 a set.
